OJ Atogwe

We'd better re-sign this guy when the time comes (Is it this offseason?) He's been my favorite player for over a year now. This guy is top 10 in almost every D category for a FS.

He's been on fire recently. Also 4 straight games with an INT.

There are some who dis-agree with you but I agree 100%. There was a thread about him taking bad angles on tackles and that he needs to be replaced I dis-agree. Atogwe is an important part of our defensive puzzle.

Re: OJ Atogwe

He has been steadily improving since they moved him from CB to safety. I think they should do the same with Bassey and give him a shot at Chavous job.

Chillar had a good game lucky to not get called for P.I. once because we usually dont get the call but he did keep that chunky tight end in check.

Re: OJ Atogwe

what about moving him to SS now. Before people opposed this idea because of his bad angles, but i think he is much better now. We should move chavous back to his original position FS and draft a young stud who he could mentor or challenge for his spot in the off season

Re: OJ Atogwe

I would say no to moving him to SS, we need a real big hitter. (FS) he is play well why move him.

Re: OJ Atogwe

Quinton Culberson is a great special teams player, and I know this is a bit off-topic, but Id like to give him some time at LB. He dosent miss many tackles.

Re: OJ Atogwe

aye should we go after Adam Archuleta again he is not the starter anymore, and we could get him for a 5th or 6th pick perhaps, since we are on the topic of safeties I thought this would be some thing to discuss. And Atogwe is good, but I would like to see him pick up a little weight, also Witherspoon is not a undersized MLB anymore as he pick up weight, who on nfl.com is listed at about 6'1 242lbs now
