He's been one of the most underrated DBs for a while, but he's starting to get some attention.

If OJ continues to improve his tackling, he'll be a dominant NFL safety and a perennial Pro Bowler. He's well on his way.

I hope he makes the probowl this year. He deserves it more than anyone else out there.

Ditto that, especially if he makes a couple more plays or three like he's been coming up with!

I thought he wouldn't be ready for the Pro bash in Hawaii this year but he's been playing great and one would think he can only improve. Great to have him in our Rams secondary!

    Re: OJ Atogwe

It's funny that O.J. is starting to get alot of respect around the league and even now in the media. Yet, he seems to take the most criticism from fans on this board ...

I wonder how many times O.J. is going to have to be "in the right place, at the right time", catching "lucky" interceptions, before people begin to respect his awareness and ability to recognize what is going on around him during the games ...

He's still young, and yes, occasionally he takes a bad angle, and might wiff a tackle. But look at last game. He flies to the line to make a critical stop on a RUN play that had a big hole to force a 4th and 1, which ended up being a turnover on downs. He also made a great open field stop on Welker, on a play where Atogwe actually schooled two potential blockers to bust up a screen play that would have went a long way had Atogwe not blown it up ...

The kid just kind of has that "it" thing. Look at the last three years. He has forced 22 turnovers in 39 games. I doubt there is another player in the league that is doing this. He leads the league in turnovers forced this year ...

I see more negative attitude towards this guy because of the tackles he misses, than positives I see for the turnovers he forces. He just knows where to be, plain and simple ...

Great young player who hasn't even broken into his deep potential yet. Let's be glad we have a guy like this ...
