    OJ's Contract

    According to Jim Thomas

"Given the needs at other positions, I would just pay him the $8 million. The overall contract is pretty reasonable. And in a little accounting maneuver, the Rams had the $8 million "charged" against their 2009 payroll (when there was no cap), even though they have yet to actually pay the $8 million! I know that sounds odd, but what it means is if the salary cap returns in 2010, the Rams won't be charged."

    Bring Him back!

To head off the "he had a down year from the stats" crowd, Oshie has hit that rare stage of "Safety who NFL QBs will not throw at under any circumstances". We want to keep that.

Exactly, stats don't show the whole story.
