Ok; It's time to focus on AZ

It's Thursday, the ***** game is in the past.

The question is, will the Rams come out with a win this week against an improved Cards team? :l

That isn't my question. I have more than one question.

1. Will the patchwork O-line show cohesiveness this week?
2. Will the defense click again, like in week 1?
3. Will Bulger be able to show Warner how it's done?
4. Will Jackson set the record for 100 yds in each of the 1st three regular season games?
5. Will Little ask Warner "Would you like paper or plastic, sir?" before he sacks him?
6. Will the Rams end up putting SF behind them?
7. Will I end up drinking too much like I did last week and feel lousy on Monday?
8. Will Moira let Dez go to the game?
9. Why don't squirrels develop nut allergies?
10. Why don't dogs get poison ivy?
11. How many licks to get to the choclaty center of a tootsie pop?

and finally....

12. Can we hold it together, not suffer any injuries, and win?

Sorry, RM68, I didn't mean to ramble, but I really think the focus isn't just on wins and losses. This year we also need to focus on improving the entire team.

I agree, but at this point I'm almost ready to borrow the Faiders old term; "Just win baby"!

I think the D can learn from it's mistakes last week and play better. A few blown coverages were the difference. If they can play the run a little better we should see a close game.

I really think Linehan needs to make better calls; IE: more quick passing routes to get the O in a rhythm. I'm almost certain the Cards D will be sending the house at Bulger; hopefully he can make them pay. Perhaps we can see more than one touchdown this week.

Well Sam, according to the old commercial with the wise old owl it only takes three..

RamMan, I heard the Faders changed it this year to "Just Win One, Maybe!"

Az is going to play us tough again as they are a constantly improving team and it is a division match-up.

I certainly hope last week was a wake-up call and we can come out to prove last week was an a nomoly.

RnD

GO RAMS!!

Re: Ok; It's time to focus on AZ

This game is going to be a tough one. Both teams look to be playing on or about the same level when you look at both offense and defense. Which teams decimated OL rises to the occasion could be a determining factor and as always, I've got to believe turnovers will be a huge key. We're protecting the ball better as well as taking it away more, so I like our chances.

Wouldn't that be refreshing.

It will be a tough game, but like I said, it will be up to Linehan to put a good game plan together. Looks like Pace will play which is a huge positive.

One thing that has me worried is Fisher matching up against Boldon and Fitz. I would think Haslett would go with more zone coverage, but then we all know how Warner likes that match up. So it will be up to the D line to get to him.

It's going to be up to the D Line all year to get pressure to help out our secondary, that's just how it is until Tye Hill turns into a shut down corner (I'm so hoping Hill will be that good in years to come, *crosses fingers*)

Good points. If we can get to Warner, we may just be able to force a fumble or two, which would really turn the tide between two teams that are very evenly matched IMO.
