Re: Olson has to GOOO

fire Him and Olsen play calling and preparation has been terrible. Haslet hasnt done that bad the defense has played well the first half and broken down near the middle of the third. WE NEED TO REBUILD THIS COACHING STAFF.

All these coaches suck. Whats with all these short passes. And Linehan is a horrible coach. He doesn't even prepare the team to play. Haslett hasn't been a winner anywhere he went

I completely agree. Anyone who wants Haslett as our coach obviously doesn't remember that the man coached the Saints and they sucked every year. He is a decent D-Coach, but he isn't head coach material.
Now, I am in no way defending Olsen or Linehan. I think they both need to be fired, but I don't think Haslett would be a good choice for HC. I think we need someone completely new.
I dont even know why we hired Linehan in the first place. He wasn't a good coordinator in Miami or Minnesota. I dont know what the Rams were thinking when they hired him...he is terrible

Re: Olson has to GOOO

Linehan was a good balanced choice for a coach and wants to have a fully balanced team between both offense and defense as well as running and passing. Olsen did very well calling plays at the end of last year. And Haslett has done his best with a sub-par defense that he inherited. I still believe in Haslett as the defense is much better since he came on board, but I wouldn't have him as anything but a DC. I just want to know where the good play calling went!

Re: Olson has to GOOO

I don't think you can lay this on Olson alone. What were we saying a couple of weeks ago? Hey Linehan, you have an offensive coodinator, use him to make the calls. So he did, and now we don't have issues with Linehan no more? Come on. Was Linehan's play calling any better? Olson is a clone of Linehan. Linehan hears the calls being made. Check the posts, but I called this when Linehan hired Olson as offensive coordinator. It immediately identified Linehan as a weak head coach to me (insofar that he wasn't going to take this team anywhere). I wasn't impressed then, and I'm not impressed now.

Do I want Linehan make me look like a dolt. Yes I do. Come on baby, turn this thing around.
