The six threads about Martz already on the 1st page aren't good enough for me to comment on, so I felt the need to start a 7th thread about him. My opinion isn't new and has already been said by no less than 4 other people, but my opinion is so important I must start a thread of my own. :D

I bet you werent saying those things when he was the coach and we were kicking everyones butt during the GSOT years. He woulda brought us a 2nd SB crown if the Cheatriots didnt cheat.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not really a Martz guy but what he did for this franchise during that exciting time was put us on the map and made the fans of the Rams love their team. All i know is before Vermeil and Martz, there was no GSOT, and no SB ring in StL. GIVE THE MAN A LITTLE RESPECT WHETHER YOU WANT HIM BACK OR NOT.

No...I don't see any need of that. Now that I recall, he ahhhh...he might of said something about running the ball more....or he might not....
I've been through so many quarterbacks...and ehhhhh...O'Sullivan wasn't the most reliable quarterback. I know exactly what he'll tell you.....LIES.....he was no different that all the rest of the players in the locker room. They were all disloyal....I tried to run the offense properly...by my genius playbook....but they fought me at every turn. The players wanted to walk around with their shirt tails hanging out...that's all right...let them........
Take the ball tosser...defective equipment...no more, no less.........
The other coaches encouraged the players to go around scoffing at me and spreading rumors about running plays that go in circles...and old yellow stain....like I was to blame for Davis's incompetence and poor sportsmanship........
Like Mike Singletary would be the perfect head coach and not Mike Martz..........
Ahhhhh, but the strawberries. That's... that's where I had them....they laughed at me and made jokes, but I proved beyond a shadow of a doubt with geometric logic that a duplicate key to the locker room did exist and I would have produced it if they hadn't dismissed me from the team. I'd like to know how many wasted draft picks Martz can be credited in his tenure with STL. I'm confident he ruined our shot at that superbowl by NOT running the ball. Plus Jackson was an afterthought his first two years under Martz, even though we were paying him as a first round draft pick.

Why did we even pick Kennedy? We didn't even need a DT as I can recall.
I don't know why we let Kevin Curtis go, as he had speed and great agility.. Instead, we get Bennett, and then release Bruce.
If I had to decide, 2005 would have been our best draft year on that list.
