Thanks for the heads up. I saw SB 40 on yesterday and was hoping they would show ours but figured it would never happen.

Re: The original Super Bowl XXXIV broadcast
I am very sad I don;t get NFL network to be able to tape those games. If anyone could tape them and burn them onto a dvd, I would pay for the dvd, shipping and whatever else you want for the trouble. PM me or post here if that is a possibility. Thanks.

Re: The original Super Bowl XXXIV broadcast
No idea there, JW. I know thet are advertisinf puters with TV tuners or whatever maybe that is what would be needed.
I have DishNetwork thus NFL Channel and DVR but do not have a DVD recorder but I would imagine anything played through a recorder can be recorded.
Or can they somehow "block" a show from being recorded?
There are a lot of smart members here and I'm sure someone has the knowledge/capability to record this.
As I note earlier there is a DVD for sale @ NFL Shop for $20 but is probably there condensed versionn with the 3 players commenting.
Good Luck!

Re: The original Super Bowl XXXIV broadcast
I was looking at the video off the link, and it is highlights of the entire season and Superbowl. While that would be nice to have too, I'd really love to have the full games on dvd.

Re: The original Super Bowl XXXIV broadcast
Well I've already set my DVR to record the game, it's gonna be great to finally have this game to watch whenever I want. Now I want the Tampa game and I'll be happy.

Re: The original Super Bowl XXXIV broadcast
I taped this game myself and made enough pauses so that there's not too much time between plays and it came out great. I play it every Super Bowl Sunday if the Rams aren't in it because I know who should be there.
When I bought a DVD recorder I put that tape on a DVD. I never have found any DVD version of the "official" NFL highlights. The VHS is copy-protected so I couldn't put it on a DVD-R.
