Re: The original Super Bowl XXXIV broadcast

    8:30 p.m. -- SB XXXIV - STL vs. Ten
“Super Bowl XXXIV: STL vs. TEN” – From the opening kickoff to the final whistle, NFL Network re-airs the network broadcast of Super Bowl XXXIV between the Rams and the Titans played on February 3, 2000 at the Superdome in New Orleans.

Call me crazy, but wasn't this in the Georgia Dome in Atlanta?

Same here. I dubbed that game to DVD +R and RW though.

Thanks for the information. I just order the DVD and have also requested a friend DVR the game itself so I will have both recorded. Rep points sent to RnD...

I almost can't stand watching that game. The Patriots got away with so much crap on defense it's not even funny. The NFL FINALLY started to crack down on that a few years ago, but too late for us.

I found a pretty neat website that has severall video clips of that game, and even one video that breaks down 150 yards of uncalled penalties (although, 1 or 2 of them looked questionable, the other 100+ are legit). The guy does seem a little obsessed with the topic, but I can't blame him too much. He does know his stuff, though. Check it out:

I tried to watch a little of it but the pain started coming back so I turned off the TV. Man just 1 quarter alone and was able to count at least three no calls.

Re: The original Super Bowl XXXIV broadcast

The NFL Network played Superbowl XXXVI last night.

I watched it until there was 1:21 left in the game. (winning drive by the Patriots) I have to say the RAMS got mugged and robbed!!!!! Thank God that was Pat Summerall's last game, he was terrible!!!

So many none calls...roughing the QB, Facemask, False starts by the Pats, Intentional grounding, it goes on and on. The referees were the worst I've seen!!!

I shouldn't have watched the replay...went to bed all aggrevated, AGAIN!!!!

Re: The original Super Bowl XXXIV broadcast

Last nite was the 1st time I watched the replay of Superbowl 36, & I have to say even with the missed calls by the refs, we flat out got our asses handed to us in that game. They abused Warner, knocked off the timing routes of the receivers, & on the last drive for the Pats, we just couldn't get it done on D. I do believe we had the better team, just not on that day.

What I can't believe is where they rated this Superbowl. You would figure that the NFL would want to sweep this one under the rug not pedestal it.

Re: The original Super Bowl XXXIV broadcast

I watched some of it... didnt have time to see all of it.

I still am in awe of how easy Warner made it look at times and felt bad for him with all the dropped balls and bad calls (no calls).

If you do a search for "super bowls on dvd", you'll find a few sites that sell dvd's of all the super bowls from pre-game to post game for about $20. Not sure about the quality, but may be worth a look.
