Well it's official, the game is NOT being shown tonight at any time. I just checked my guide and the Giants and Bills will be on from 7:30 until 10:30 and from 12:00 am until 3:00 am. :\

For anyone still wondering, it is on TONIGHT (it's the 26th) at 7:30pm-11:30pm CENTRAL TIME on the NFL Network. I think it also comes on later, sometime in early morning.

No it's not. My DirecTV guide was just updated today and the Giants Bills game will be replayed late at night. Which makes perfect sense because they always replay the game they showed earlier, not show a different one. They just never got around to updating their website. This is all because Bill Parcells retired by the way.

OK, so to solve the problem, I record it tonight at 1 AM (my time). If it happens to be the wrong game, well, I'll just record the GOOD game over it!

    Problem Solved!!!

That is crap. I've been waiting two weeks for tonight and watch the greatest Superbowl ever. It's OFFICIAL now, they have CHANGED it to the Giants-Bills game. It is SCHEDULED (which obviously doesn't mean anything to these people) for next week, Feb. 1st at same time.

    That really ticks me off.

I too am a LOT peeved with the NFL network. My son was 5 when this game was played and we were looking forward to tonight to watch this game together.
Who cares if Parcells retired? It's like the 4th time he's retired and shouldn't have bumped our game.
I'm sick of our team not getting any respect from the NFL!!!!!!!

Yep. I was looking foward to sitting down and watching that game for two weeks, only to have them change it... what, about 45 minutes before it was scheduled!? Really frustrating. They are SUPPOSE to play it this Thursday at the same time (7:30 CT).

Re: The original Super Bowl XXXIV broadcast

I came home from work Friday and the warden asked me, "Why were you trying to tape the Giants/Bills Super bowl game today?".

Evidently she turned on the TV to watch one of her DVR'd shows and it was in the process of taping the game so being the smart gal she is, she shut it off and deleted it...

I'll set it to tape again and NFL willing and the creek don't rise I might get my copy this Thursday...

I'll see what I can do to get my PC setup to record this. I have the video card, TV Tuner and the DVD burner. Just haven't tried hooking it up to TV yet.
