Other Teams trade a fourth Round Pick for a ...
WR... like the Hated patriots. They trade a 4th round pick for a proven Deion Branch. Why would we have we not given a 3rd Round pick for Branch.

They also have quite a few more picks than we do, and can afford trading for a single player to help them reach the next level. Right now our team is still in full-scale rebuilding mode, and shouldn't be trading future help for immediate help.

who the hell would trade a third for Branch? Ts is nuts and some of our fans have gone mad. We are a team that could still end up 4-12 and to give up a third for a guy who is always injured and well past his prime is basically idiocy. Especially with how well Devaney has drafted recently.

They can have Branch. I'm not against trading away draft picks for proven talent, but I want guys that have a few years left in the tank.

i wouldn't give more than a 6th for that guy. He's no better or worse than Laurent RObinson.

n overpaid, over-the-hill piece of junk that our division rival would happily dump on us knowing that we aren't getting better while they get our draft picks?
I'd consider Branch if he were A) from another team and B) cost less than a 4th. But, he wasn't, he didn't, and he was already traded.

Devaney must see a flaw in this receiver, he picked out Clayton and basically paid peanuts for the kid and he turned out to be a jewel in the rough until that injury. Until he can see something good, I'll wait for the all-seeing Devaney to decide who's another jewel in the rough WR.

A 31-year old Branch for a 4th on a playoff contender makes sense, especially when the same team just got a 3rd rounder for Moss. They come out ahead in draft picks and reunite Brady with one of his old favorite targets.
What does that same deal do for us? We're not a playoff contender this year. Even if we improve a little bit on offense, the defense still isn't championship material at this point. I don't know that Branch gives us even one more win this season. He's not familiar with our system. He hasn't worked with Bradford in the past. And he'll be a little older, a little slower by this time next year.
