Spags has come out and said he doesn't get mad at the players for the penalties because he feels it won't help them. Sure as hell doesn't help the Rams either.

This undisciplined garbage is losing every game. It's all on the coaches.

did you hear commentary today? Spags supposedly said that in practice they are spot on but the pressure of game time it all comes out.

There is just no reason for so many penalties, especially at critical times. If these players are not being drilled at keying on the snap, knowing the snap count, and not flinching, something is seriously wrong. I don't care if they look good in practice, they look horrible on Sunday and need to be held accountable with relentless practices that make them wish for the pressure of a game.

The Rams haven't had a real head coach since January 31, 2000, after their super bowl 34 win.

Just about everyone here, myself included, and many pros around the league were convinced that Spagnuolo could become a great head coach. Reality can be like a hard kick in the teeth sometimes.

If things don't turn around dramatically and fast, like in the next few games, I think you can count on Spags being thrown onto the Ram's growing pile of failed HC's that were and will always be nothing more than great coordinators.

I don't know about you all, but I'm tired of rolling the dice on good coordinators and hoping they'll make good head coaches. I just want someone who has been there before and succeeded, and I don't think that's too much to ask for. I don't know if I'm ready for Spags to go just yet, but if he does there better be a plan to get us a proven coach in here to take his spot. No more outstanding corrdinators with potential.

Our coaching staff is bunch of girls. I'm serious. This is not how I want to see this team coached. You can see the body language. Our team right now is probably the tamest, un-aggressive, passive, lackluster team in the league physically and emotionally.

Fire Steve Loney the OL coach right now. Then imediately remove anyone getting penalized. We're thin, but have the guilty party called out and standing beside the coach, not on the bench. Treat the offenders like they were in high school. Make them suffer along with us.

Most of these guys are gonna still be here when Spags is fired, so if he's not going to coach em up then call them out.

Let me in there as the assistant coach responsible for penalties. When they come off of the field after a series with a penalty, they will wonder if coach Jack is going to tazer them, pepper spray inside of the helmet, kick in the shin, or sucker punch in the kidney. You wanna be jumpy? I'll give you something to be jumpy about.
