It's like the young owner did intially in Washington (until he saw he couldn't win) or Jerry Jones in Dallas (found out the same thing). The EGOS in the Front Office won't allow a football man to do his thing. I can't remember another successful team where the coach has less power within the Organization.

Most coaches call the shots; however, it seems Martz always has to fight to get his way. Vultures within the Organization have been waiting for Martz to look vunerable for some time. Why wasn't a clear message sent to Sid vicious (a TEAM EXEC) that left a threatening message for a journalist covering the team when he wrote that Front office EXECS have been back-stabbing Martz and criticizing him off the record. The team basically defended the defenseless and made it look like this guy "Samir Suleiman" was Martz's equal.
