James Hall, Robaire Smith, Todd Johnson...not altogether household names but thats where value is found.

Re: our signings to date....
Good moves in my openion. Maybe we are saving the LB's and DT's for the draft.

Re: our signings to date....
I like what they are doing. Improving our team without breaking the bank. In the draft they can really improve this team by bringing in a NT,

Re: our signings to date....
Does Robaire Smith play mostly DT or DE? For his size he seems to be a DT but I've seen him listed as an end too.

Re: our signings to date....
He's supposed to be able to play any spot on the line, but best fitted for tackle, especially in our D.

Re: our signings to date....
I agree...filling holes and not breaking the bank in the process. By not spending to much money this year only opens the door more for next year. It's a chess match....you have to be patient.

Re: our signings to date....
Well, we now know our offense is elite, and you can't say we don't have a TE. Also you can't say we don't have a third receiver since Curtis left. You can't say we don't have a DE opposite to Little. Unless he gets hurt. Here is to a non-injury SUPER BOWL winning season.

Re: our signings to date....
What DT and LB should then sign? Theres very little out there for Dt especially.
Smith is the best DT left and the rams are talkign to him.. what else can they do?Last edited by Alec22; -03-08-2007 at 09:54 PM. Reason: i was bored?

Re: our signings to date....
I like what we've done, we've added depth to the secondary, and tight end positions, we still need to resign Turk, sign another back up offensive lineman, and a back up running back, add some more to our special teams, and draft a defensive tackle/strong side linebacker.

Re: our signings to date....
I say no to Robaire Smith. He is 30 and we can get a lot better value later in the draft, imo. He is a solid DT, but with the insane money teams are shelling out right now for marginal free agents, I say no.
