Re: Our trenches need work changes are a coming.
I still don't see a realistic situation where we get Branch. He'd have to get by both Washington and Cleveland, and unless we move ahead of them, I just don't see it happening for us @ 8th overall.
Pisa on the strong side is another injury-plagued year waiting to happen. The last time he played over the tight end was the season he had like eight dislocations in his shoulder.

Young is old but he still can play, Thomas, 11 years he got some wear on him, I just don't think we can draft a DT that can play well in his first year.
I like Young.

Nick If he is there would you take him? I think he would be a nice fit.As the draft draws closer, you're hearing more and more about Okoye being a first round guy. At this point I would be surprised if he makes it to us in the second.

Wow......that's the only word that can describe what you guys are doing. Common.....where's the love for Timmerman???? He plays with I believe it was 3 broken ribs so that we could have the best chance to make the play-offs. So what do you guys go and do???? You replace him. I am disgusted. This is not to say that I'm not opposed to us drafting a OG for the future. If we could have Timmerman teaching the young one's we could be golden for a while.

Re: Our trenches need work changes are a coming.
I'm glad I'm not the only one how'd like to see London Fletcher-Baker return. He's still performing at a very high level (likely will go to the Pro Bowl this year). Maybe the best UFA at MLB in 2007, IMO, unless Bills tag him.
The Rams not re-signing him in 2002 was the dumbest move...

I'm not sold on Kennedy, I think getting the DT's is going to be the really hard part. As Nick pointed out Branch may not be there, it would be sweet if he was.

Indeed both lines need work.....even so, Bulger, Jackson and Holt are having nice years, yes Bulger is getting hit ALOT, but he is a true warrior and continues to battle.

Re: Our trenches need work changes are a coming.
every single football game starts and ends in the trenches... when the rams were in the GSOT years they had one of the best lines in the league... look at the niners line throughout their glory years, just superb from top to bottom... if we want to go back to prominece, the RAMS must revamp their lines...
