Arrow Pace Files Termination of Agents

PACE FILES TERMINATION OF AGENTS: When Rams Pro Bowl left tackle Orlando Pace finally signed his one-year tender earlier this week, his agents, the controversial Poston brothers, said that they were the ones who "encouraged him to come in and sign the one-year tender." Said Carl Poston: "But I can't make the big fellow come in. He's frustrated with the team."

It turns out, when Pace signed, he did so without his agents.

FOXSports.com has learned that Pace had actually filed a termination letter with the NFL Players Association ceasing their relationship. Thus, Pace may be a free agent yet again ó a free agent in the agent market.

Calls to Pace through the team have not yet been returned. It is unclear if this is a permanent change or whether the two sides will get back together. If there is an actual termination then Rams officials should be licking their chops to get the big man locked up long-term.

    Right On!!

Hope this rings true and Pace signs a long-term deal. One thing is for certain, after today, Pace has leverage enough to have a no camp or preaseson games clause written into his contract. The Big Guy was stellar!!

No more Postons and a chance of a long term deal with Pace? Excuse me while I shoot this pig out of the sky.

    Its about time.

I'll tell you... between reporting to camp in shape and ready to go and then firing the Postons, I'm starting to regain a little bit of respect for the big guy.

Way to go, Big Guy. Now we're talking. I will be more than happy to take back all those "fat boy" comments once you get something long-term signed. Looks like you've taken the first step that was needed to get it done.

Pace apparently (according to BM) denied he fired the Postons when asked after the game.

Too good to be true, I was afraid of that. :upset:

That's true but on the Radio in St. Louis this morning they said he hedged before he denied it. Something to the effect of "Where did you here that?" then Pace said "I don't know?" then he said "No". I think he didn't want everyone knowing about it yet obviously.

Anyway if it's true then I take back all the bad stuff everyone else has said about you Orlando!

Heck, if Orlando sits out the rest of the training camps in his career and comes out playing like that.....I don't have a problem with it.
