WR- Holt
WR- Bruce
Slot- Bennett

Re: On paper are we the best?
In comparing Rams skill positions to other teams, even wIndy, I would think that considering the OL is also very germaine.
That being said, Ram skill players combined with what "I" think will be an even more improved and deep OL, make the whole Ram Offense above most all. Even wIndy.
I should also add, that though he lacks experience, I think Brian Leonard is better than Adaii.Last edited by Richbert88; -08-06-2007 at 11:17 PM.

Re: On paper are we the best?
According to the Football Outsiders, the Rams are one of the worst teams on paper in 2007. They project the Rams to have 5.8 wins this year.

Re: On paper are we the best?
I don't get that. We went 8-8 last season with a new coach. Everything we did this off season were all positive, and we're adjusted to our new system. We signed guys that are definitely going to help us this season. These so-called experts don't know what they're talking about.

Re: On paper are we the best?
5.8 wins? What a joke, we're better all over the board.
I think on paper our offense is definetly one of the top three, hard to say who's the best.

Football Outsiders is published in NE.
These are a bunch of Ivy League guys who use an elaborate statistical methodology to project how teams will perform each year. They claim not to use opinion, just numbers.
You can find them on footballoutsiders.com

Re: On paper are we the best?
I don't think any team can match our skill position players on offense, not even Indianapolis. On paper we really do look better than anyone, the only way this offense can be stopped that I can see is if the O-line don't hold up their end of the deal, but I'm confident that they will. With Pace back and the emerging young guys at the interior positions I don't see how our O-line will not be better than last year. Looking at our offense from another team's DC perspective must be downright scary.

Re: On paper are we the best?
Yes, Indy is an obvious choice, and if not for their lack of depth at wideout, San Diego could make an argument. However, if you ask me, the best offense on paper is Philly. When healthy, McNabb is among the best in the league. Westbrook (1911 yards from scrimmage) is the most overrated RB in the league. Tapeh is as good a lead blocker as there is. Brown, Lewis, Curtis, Baskett and Smith (TE) make a solid, though not flashy receiving corp. And the piece of the puzzle that so often gets overlooked......their OL is among the best in the business. Thomas, Herremans, Jackson, Andrews, Runyan......all with 16 starts a piece last year. Assuming a healthy McNabb, the Eagles have one of the best offenses in the league.
"Before the gates of excellence the high gods have placed sweat; long is the road thereto and rough and steep at first; but when the heights are reached, then there is ease, though grievously hard in the winning." --- Hesiod
