    Pead?

Obviously we can all agree Stacy has brought a fire to this fan base. With that being the case (and I am glad he has) it is obvious Pead has basically fallen off of the planet and seems to have no support when it comes to the coaching staff and trusting him. My question is what people think will happen with him? I voted Trade for late rounder at end of season, because I honestly do not see him staying and being basically the 4th back for our team next year. Obviously the deadline has come and gone so it will not be this year, but I wanted to get other opinions

I don't think he warrants any draft pick, he's shown nothing in the NFL.

I loved his talent coming out of Cincy, but I think his mind isn't equipped for the NFL.

I had to go with he second option, and I would add "and the Rams never draft another player from the University of Cincinnati."

...at least not a skill player.

With Stacy out, it'll be interesting to see if Pead gets any carries this week. What a shame. I hope he can turn it around.

Some guy on another site was on the Rams sideline, and said no one talked to Pead - he sat alone on the bench in street clothes.

I chose the option "working next to Mardy Gillyard" in whatever vocation they both are good at outside of football.

He'll be cut during the offseason. If you were another team, what have you seen that would make you want to trade for him?

Yes, it will be interesting to see as Cunningham is also questionable. We'll see if Pead has the motivation.

    Re: Pead?

Well he obviously can't be traded this season, as the deadline has come and gone. But I'm sure at some point this season he will get a chance to prove himself. So I will reserve my vote until that time comes.

    Re: Pead?

He'll continue to ride pine this season. Let's face it, there's nobody better to pick up in the off chance we have RB injuries and need a backup. Next years OTAs will be his final shot with the Rams. If he can get his head right during the offseason he'll get one last shot. If not, we'll either cut him or trade him for a 6th/7th rounder to a team with enough depth to give him a shot and a change of scenery.

    Re: Pead?

I would like to get something for him, being that he was a 2nd round pick (sigh), but his lack of performance will net us nothing Im sure.

    Release and move on.

    Re: Pead?

Sad to say but I think he's done.

If the reports on the board are true of him sitting by himself on the sidelines week after week then his confidence is gone.

    Such a shame.
