Pepsi Rookie of the Year 1 Week away.....

I have heard rumors that Suh could beat our Sam for the Rookie of the Year in a surpise this coming week of the ProBowl.

Here is Sam's info:
Bradford set NFL rookie records for completions (354) and attempts (590), and his 3,512 passing yards are the second most by a rookie in league history, trailing only Peyton Manning's 3,739 in 1998. Bradford's 18 touchdowns are tied for fifth most among rookies in NFL history. During a midseason stretch, Bradford set a rookie record with 174 consecutive attempts without an interception. The former Heisman Trophy winner led the Rams to seven wins. Bradford, who attended the University of Oklahoma, was nominated for five Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week awards, winning twice.

Suh:
Suh led the Lions, NFL rookies and all defensive tackles with 10.0 sacks and recorded 66 tackles (49 solo), three passes defensed, one forced fumble, one interception and one fumble returned for a touchdown. Suh became the second rookie defensive tackle in NFL history to record 10.0 sacks. He also was the only rookie in the NFL to record a sack, an interception and a fumble return for a touchdown this season. He was selected to the 2011 NFC Pro Bowl team as a starter. Suh, who attended the University of Nebraska, was nominated for four Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week awards, winning once.

It'd be great for Bradford to win Rookie of the Year but assuming he doesn't win, just wait until he's holding the Lombardi trophy. It'll be a much greater feeling than some silly popularity contest-esque award. After all, he's already exceeded most of our expectations and will continue to grow and get better.

While its entirely possible that Suh could win, I can't imagine what "rumors" you could have heard, given that its an on-line voting system that does not publish the results until voting is closed.

I'm sorry Avenger, I was trying to think of where on TV I heard it and i'm like 99% sure it was on NFL Network since that's pretty much all I ever watch or get info from for the most part except 101espn.

Sam wouldn't mind if he didn't win it. When he played at OU he won many trophy's and the heisman but missed out barely winning a NC. He wanted that more then any of those other trophys.


Sam has a lot of awards but none of the ones that mean the most to him.
