I'm going to say the same thing that I say to other fans who complain about losing because of bad calls, we shouldn't have been in the position to let the refs beat us.

That is true, but doesn't make it any better, especially when it just happens to involve one of the few penalties that can hand an offense more than 15 yards.

I say fire Ed Hochuli from the zebra uniforms, if he comes to ref the week 16 game and makes another obvious bad call. Then there better be a fan jumping onto the field and beating the crap outta him.

I hope when we play the Niners in St. Louis, that Danny Amendola tackles Nate Clements when Sam underthrows him and we get a pass interference call to win the game in overtime. How's that for a pity call?!

I first read the headline to read "Peoria says..." And I thought "Well that isn't really news" until I read it closer. Whoops.

It was a crap call. However there's nothing they can do except hope that is one of several plays that is running in slow loop when the rules committee is debating making DPI a 15 yard penalty rather than a spot foul.

/Of course I'm also of the "don't put yourself in a position to be screwed by the refs" mindset.
