Re: Perhaps threatening people is nothing new for Turley
To be honest with you guys, I feel and have felt since Turley left camp and took his surfboard with him that Martz has good reason to be pissed. I think Turley saw this back thing just as an ambulance chaser would. That is just my opinion and I have been wrong once before. That one time I was wrong was the time I thought I was wrong about something but it turned out I wasn't.

Re: Perhaps threatening people is nothing new for Turley
I thought Turley was medically cleared to return to practice...? If he wasn't and Martz made him practice, Turley's anger would be justified. But if Turley was medically cleared, I don't know how anyone can pin this on Martz.

Re: Perhaps threatening people is nothing new for Turley
You know a lot of posters have said this and that about KT and his ALLEGED actions and activities.
He has never been arrested in New Orleans or St. Louis for driving under the influence or felony manslaughter ( as far as I know) and he comes to his QB's rescue whether in an 'aints or RAMS uniform. Other than the timing of this alleged outburst, was he ever a locker room distraction(pardon my vast ignorance)? He did come to MB's side during last season which probably pissed of a lot of clannies here but is that considered negative?
Maybe he was calling out Martz on his favoritism when they exchanged unpleasantaries concerning his PT for his injury or responding to some misquote by MM. I would think that KT wants to play again in any uniform in the NFL and is frustrated.
BTW, I was shocked when the RAMS traded for him as he and MM would go after each other in the papers before the trade.
KT was let go on in New Orleans when he called out Hasbeen Haslett on his accountability as has every decent player the 'aints has let get away recently like willie roaf, etc.
The NFL and the FO have decided not to fine KT and drop the issue.Socrates: Surf to live! and Live to Surf!

Hopefully that means everyone else will do the same. Personally, I'd love to see Turley back on the field for us in 2005. I think we'd have a much better offensive line with him there, provided he makes a full recovery and gets his weight back up.

Personally I think the Rams should keep the young guy, Blaine Saipaia.
Turley has a bad back and while he still might be able to perform at a high level there is always an uncertainty with back injuries.
Blaine Saipaia is the future.
