We shall see, I think a big part of this was actually the switch from Linehan to Olsen, because simply, he did better play-calling.

    Re: Perspective.

Yes, it makes a HUGE difference.

Does it mean we win the West?

    No.

Does it guarantee a wildcard spot?

    No.

    Does it mean we're back?

    No.

It means that we, the fans, can walk into work on Monday, holding our heads high. It means we can concentrate on things other than what went wrong in the last game.

It means that a run of bad luck, or bad playing, came to a halt, at least for now.

It means we go into the game next week without a big, King Kong sized monkey on our backs.

It's not what we really want, but I'll take it.

    Perspective or Observations:

We are not as good yet as we can or should be...but I am happy about the win...

The whiners are not as bad as they used to be...which means that they are going to continue to be a thorn in our side for years to come...

I would like to add that we killed 3 birds with 1 win. Losing streak is over at 5. Losing streak to the Whiners is over at 3. Most exciting is that the Whiners win streak was stopped by our RAMS!!! YAHOOOOOOOOOOO!!

As much as the play-calling thrilled me, I have to say that our "D"-- yes, our Defense-- impressed me. We knew exactly what they were going to do. They came in and did it, and we didn't fall apart. How many "3-and-outs" did they have? We kept our shiat together long enough to not be embarrassed again.
I'm not saying our defense is fixed, or even that we're getting better at stopping the run, but wow! Was it nice to see our guys play hard til the end, or what?

I agree about the defense!! They can't stop the run but somehow they seem to keep the opponents out of the endzone!! Only 32 points in 2 games. It is nothing like the bears but heck it is a real improvement for the Rams.

I take back all my no heart comments from the week before. It took some real guts to come back and pull ou that win. Steven was awseome. Mark was great in crunch time. I still think we end up 9-7 this year.

    Re: Perspective.

As I said after the early loss to SF, we are not as good as the team that beat Denver, but we are also not as bad as the team that lost to SF.
