Peter King: Linehan could be fired if Rams lose to Buffalo

PETER KING REPORTING LINEHAN COULD BE CANNED: On the Notre Dame halftime show on NBC this afternoon SI's Peter King reported that if the Rams lose to the Bills on Sunday that Scott Linehan is expected to be given his "walking papers" as King put it.

The benching of Marc Bulger looks to be the last straw in light of the ripple effects it has caused through the locker room. Steven Jackson and apparently other offensive players believe the blame for the offense's troubles have been placed solely on Bulger and it doesn't sit well with a lot of the men who voted Bulger to be one of the offensive co-captains.

Thank goodness! I'll be dancing in the streets one way or another tomorrow night... at least I hope so.

Either we'll shock the hell out of the football world, or, we'll be minus the worst head coach I've ever seen.

    That's right.

Whichever way you look at it, tomorrow will be a huge day in the history of the Franchise. And the best bit? There'll be cause for celebration in either circumstance!

This is the first time I've ever wished we would loose, and I hope we loose badly. Really bad.

He could get fired with a win too.
Now the ultra-rare tie may save him for another week

Ditto. Our worst fears could be realized with a win.

Re: Peter King: Linehan could be fired if Rams lose to Buffalo

I would hate to see us lose, especially with the newbies in, and I would hate to see Trent hurt. As much as I want Loonyhan, (And not just him), gone.....Why does our team losing this have to be the final straw?

Why can't the FUBAR just see what the fans are seeing win or lose?

1.What if he is not canned?
    2.Whatever came of Marshall's visit?
3.Who will take over? I don't want to see Hasnot doing it, and I personially do not like Saunders in the box.

Can I dance with you in the street if he is canned?

Can I lay in the street and get run over if he is not?

I have no choice but to hope for a loss, and that saddens me.

If he is canned I will be so happy, but feel so bad for his family. Hopefully they will not suffer. Hopefully Loonyhan has prepared them for the worst.

OK, someone take my hand and let's go dance in the rain.

(We must make it fast as Jerr is in Dublin at a poker tournament). I didn't go, they don't like me because I have won the last three pots.

Where is my BRM when I need him?

This guy should have been fired the the past two years and hasn't been- so I'll believe it when I see it.
