Peter King on the New & Improved Rams ..
Pete makes some very sensible comments on our Rams. I was pleasantly impressed with his views. Check out this video and see what you think ..

Re: Peter King on the New & Improved Rams ..
He's basically saying what we have been crying for this past season and offseason: GET AN EXPLOSIVE WR.
Thats the only way this offense, and thus this team, will exceed expectations. its that simple. This defense is not the type of defense that plays well unless it has a lead.

I hope Gilyard sees this. He's starting to come on strong and any boost to his confidence will only make him better.
I agree with King that the additions on defense are going to have a positive impact.

Re: Peter King on the New & Improved Rams ..
I thought he was stating that our receiving corps as a group must step up to the plate and produce. If one or two guys emerge as "go to" receivers then so much the better. If everyone is largely consistent, then we'll be able to spread the ball around and keep defenses on their heels reacting to what we're dictating. Having a "true number one wideout" is great (whatever the definition of that is), but I'd rather have production from the whole group.
How do you know this? We are much bigger this year, we are not like the Colts whose defense is predicated on speed and having a lead. We really don't know what we have yet, but I think it's a stretch to say at this point our defense must have a lead to play well. Heck if they play well, our defense can give us that lead ..

I would like the Rams to sit Danny on Sat and let Marty run with the ones... We know Danny is going to make it, lets get a good look at Marty, DX and Avery.

Exactly Festus. You think that Brandon Lloyd is going to do anything this year? McDaniels MADE Brandon Lloyd.
Amendola is as good as Wes Welker, if not tougher. And we have a bunch of toys for Josh to play with. He'll find a way to use them.I believe!
