Pisa and his nickname
If pisa changes numbers, we will lose one of the best nicknames in recent rams memory, Hawaai 5-0!. I guess he could always keep the name and change the number.

Re: Pisa and his nickname
Why can't he keep the #, Pats had # 80 playing back there!

Re: Pisa and his nickname
Yeah, they make exceptions now. Keyshon uses 19 as a receiver....
Pisa can keep "5-0" at SS.

Re: Pisa and his nickname
Keyshawn had to pay an annual fee to keep his number #19 for a while. They recently changed the rules so that receivers could use numbers between 10-19 and 80-89. I suspect that Pisa might have to make a number change if he's going to be playing SS at the start of the season, because I don't remember any jersey number expansions for defensive backs.

Re: Pisa and his nickname
I never understood the numbering rules anyway. Why would anyone care? Why do we even have to call him a DB. Let's make up a new position. Call it.....Cover Linebacker. Then he's still a LB and can keep his number. The whole thing's silly if you ask me. Having to pay a fee to play a different position with the same number....silly.
