EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — As it turns out, Kenneth Darby will have to wait a while longer to make his first NFL start.
Jim Haslett said this morning that he’d decided Antonio Pittman had recovered sufficiently from his hamstring injury to earn the start today against the New York Jets. Haslett said Pittman, injured last week against Arizona, went through a demanding workout Saturday without difficulty.
Darby still figures to get plenty of work, but newcomer Samkon Gado probably will be used sparingly, if at all, now.
By the way, the weather here is beautiful. Sunny, with high temps in the mid-50s predicted.
All for now . . . more later.

I don't think it matters who starts both will see alot of action.Kudos to Pittman for toughing it out.
Re: Pittman (not Darby) To Start Today Against the Jets
It's going to be tough regardless of who plays. None of them are Steven Jackson and thats the player defenses fear.
However, Pittman did good against New England. Lets see how this plays out.

The Jets Defensively are a little weak in their backfield, Bulger should concentrate more on his passing game, constantly attacking the Jets secondary.
Memo to Bulger: Air it out against the Jets today!
