These are the 2 offensive series to start the 2nd half. Each was followed by a long punt return. Keep in mind these sreies were WITH the wind. I especially like the play calling on the second series:

St. Louis Rams at 14:55
1-10-STL21 (14:55) M.Faulk up the middle to SL 19 for -2 yards (S.Adams).
2-12-STL19 (14:17) M.Bulger pass incomplete to I.Bruce. Overthrown, receiver over middle at SL 38.
3-12-STL19 (14:10) M.Bulger pass incomplete to I.Bruce. Overthrown, receiver at SL 45, right sideline.

1-10-STL26 (13:38) S.Jackson left tackle to SL 31 for 5 yards (N.Clements; T.Spikes).
2-5-STL31 (12:57) M.Faulk up the middle to SL 35 for 4 yards (C.Kelsay, J.Posey).
3-1-STL35 (12:16) M.Faulk right guard to SL 32 for -3 yards (S.Adams).

Wow! Martz must be some sort of offensive Genius! Such strategy...Why he must be outsmarting all of us. We must sign him to a long term deal so that he can't get away. And his poker pal Marmie must be given a pay raise for his brilliance on the defensive side! I have a great idea....let's cut our 2 time MVP...we'll be unstoppable then, right? :tongue:

Martz really needs to learn that on 3rd and 1 when they(the opposing team) have their big guys in that he should use the Big RB. I love Marshall but he is not gonna over power anyone. Jackson gets that first down and the Rams are still in the game.

Good point LaRams Fan, I was thinking the same thing. Martz needs to know when it is best to use a 235# RB when all you need is a yard or so.

I hear what you're saying and I'm all for more Jackson, but Sam Adams set up shop in our backfield yesterday and against 350 pounds, it wouldn't have mattered either way, Faulk's 210 lbs or Jackson's 235.

We would have done better running the ball with Dishman yesterday. Hmmmm, Dishman at RB. Nahh, nevermind.
