The play of the game
Did you guys see marshalls three yard run, where he did a complete turn around at the line of scrimmage, then cut back leaving two guys standing their with their hedgecocks in their hands while he darted into the middle. talk about making something out of nothing! Marshall can still play ball.

Re: The play of the game
Yes, I did.. Great play. When I saw you're subject line, I thought the play you might be referrring to was where Claiborne
pancaked their RB and they made the sack. That was a play!
That the DEF play of the game.

Re: The play of the game
the claiborne play was terrific, but for spiritual sake, i thought the defensive play of the game was the stop on the run up the middle on 4th and one. If we can stop guys in short yardage, that will be a tremendous omen for the year to come. I wonder if the guy that called leonard little a One Trick Pony passrusher on the board last week saw that play.

Re: The play of the game
And who was made that 4th down play? Leonard Little.
Wrongly stereotyped as a speed rusher by the average NFL fan, Little can and does play the run like a pro-bowler.
I agree with you. The momentum shift was big.

Yes indeed. Little is one of the best DE's in the game. :clanram:Wrongly stereotyped as a speed rusher by the average NFL fan, Little can and does play the run like a pro-bowler.JUST WIN ONE FOR THE FANS

Re: The play of the game
Yes. In fact, there were several plays that could be all considered as tops.
Madison's TD, just r-e-a-c-h-i-n-g the front corner of the endzone.
Claiborne's "get atta-the-way / I'm coming in!" tackle. :angryram:
Kevin Curtis catch / speed (very promising).
Tyoka's burst into a stop in the backfield.
Stone's pressure / hit on the QB.
Marshall Faulk has taken this 'back-up' role with class AND wisdom. He himself ackowledged that he wouldn't be able to play every down like Steven Jackson is now slated to do.
:football: Yet he also knows, as does the Rams offense and coaches, that he will be more rested, fresher and more apt to attack in sporadic interventions. More effective.
Hey, BTW, I sure hope Dusty McGrorty makes the team over Aveion Cason!

Re: The play of the game
I was very pleased to see the D make the 4th and 1 stop.
Bruce had some nice catches. I liked his td catch in the endzone.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Re: The play of the game
Real Ram, i think both mcgorty and cason will get cut and harris will make it. This will also allow hedgehung to make it, he has been excellent on special teams.
