My point is simply this: you don't know what the players are thinking. You only know what they are willing to say in front of a camera or microphone.
So, if you think you are in a position to say conclusively that the players are "fiercely loyal" to Linehan, all I can say is that you need to drink some more Evian (just make sure you spell it backwards).

I guess I could say you need to drink some more Evian too. We see this issue differently, which is fine.
