Playoff Picture from the NFL Network???

OK our favorite team the 49whinners laid an egg in New Orleans

The Cards role the hapless Jags

    Seagulls stomp the Vikes

NFL Network post that the Cards/49whinners are looking for the 6th seat WILDCARD for the playoffs...and no mention of the Rams. Can someone give me the division standings again. The Rams still can best the 49whinners/Seagulls/Cards. It would seem there is just no love for the Rams out there--it would be poetic justice that the Rams force the discussion

    Hags - 10-1
    49whiners 6-4 (tie-breaker)
    Cards - 6-4
    RAMS - 4-6

Can we pass the 49whiners and the cards, it is possible, but right now they both have more wins than the RAMS.

The Cards are better than us as their record indicates. We're on the hunt but so are the Bears, Cowboys, Panthers, and Packers and their records are better than ours. I don't see your point. If this teams wants respect, they better win consistently, no excuses whether they're ugly blowouts or just short of a field goal.

Mathematically of course we are alive, but at 4-6, we can't play the "no respect' card and be taken seriously- especially when we play SF and Sea on the road and play the Saints as well.

We've done a nice job playing hard the last three weeks, but you get no medals for trying.

The way things look we will probably have to win out or just drop one game in order to get ahead of the cards and ******. Mathematically yes we're still alive and if last weeks game against the colts wasnt a fluke, this team can do it.

Don't stop there; we could have been 7-3 with wins against Atlanta, Seattle, and Tennessee. Those three were all very winnable games, especially the Falcons when you look back in retrospect knowing the kind of mess they'd end up being this season.

All the Rams can do at this point is all they can do at this point. And that would be 10-6. If it's good enough, it's good enough. If not....

You know what, I know it's any given sunday and what not, but the Rams without Sam Bradford aren't going to win the Superbowl even if they make it to the playoffs. I know it sounds pessimistic but can anyone honestly say they can?

the atlanta game was avoidable sure, but heck, just with the two close losses against tennessee and seattle would be wins with bradford imo

that was early on and the rams beat themselves against atlanta...

they'd need help for sure lol

but even just getting to the playoffs would totally blow many people away (including several on this board who didn't think the rams would do crap even with bradford)

and that creates very nice optimism for next season and beyond...

and they would make the playoffs!!

Have only done it once in the last decade right?

All of those teams have (or will return) their number 1 quarterback. We sadly will not. That should be enough.

I mean really. Can you blame them ? We aren't close to being a playoff contender.

They weren't going to win it WITH him, but that's an entirely different subject that's been beaten to death.
