'Playoffs!!' ...can we talk about "Playoffs??"

What will be the Rams mindset going into the Bye with a .500 record?
Surely, they know they let a few get away, with one game they didn't bother to play! (Detroit).
One things for sure, they have to experience the belief that they can win on the road. (0-3) At least the ED is becoming to feel more like home for the Rams again(4-1).
Do the Rams dare come out of the break talking about Playoffs?!
Is it too much to expect from a 1-15 team of a year ago?
Is it possible the Rams could win the West?
Seattle doesn't seem to want it, Arizona doesn't seem to want and the Whiners can't have it, even though Singletary says they will. if the Rams play their cards right they have a good shot at winning this thing!
Or is it way too early tell?
Let's start talking "PLAYOFFS!!!" GO RAMS

Re: 'Playoffs!!' ...can we talk about "Playoffs??"
You must be new 'round these here parts. Dontcha know that we's a team in transition and that, after a-goin' one and fifteen last year, to expect anythin' more than two wins this season is akin to heresy?
Can I hear duelling banjos in the distance?

So, two of the biggest naysayer posters are now claiming to be the pilot and co-pilot of the bandwagon?
Now I've seen everything.
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!

Re: 'Playoffs!!' ...can we talk about "Playoffs??"
The recent years of losing won't allow me to count our chickens just yet. A lot of football must still be played- including a stretch of 3 in a row on the road- where we haven't learned to win yet.
The Rams just have to keep doing what they've been doing; playing good defensive football, playing it close to the vest offensively, playing with heart and determination and winning the turnover battle- and everything else, including playoffs, will take care of itself.
In the meantime, let's enjoy an extended victory celebration and going into the bye week at 4-4- waaaaayyyy ahead of where most thought we'd be.Last edited by NJ Ramsfan1; -11-01-2010 at 09:23 AM.

To me, until the Rams play well on the road, they don't really have a shot. I hope they start soon, though.

I, quite frankly, don't care whether you frequently agree with me or not.
The bottom line is, whether you want to accept it or not, there are certain posters that everyone knows are the first to point the finger of blame, complain, or berate the team when things don't go well.
For two of the posters who fit that category to now act as though they are the torchbearers for the team is comical, to put it mildly.
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!

Re: 'Playoffs!!' ...can we talk about "Playoffs??"
I am thrilled that the Rams are 4-4 going into the break, unfortunately the realist in me thinks that the playoffs are a long shot for our boys this year. The schedule seems to be getting tougher, and the Rams depth chart seems to keep getting thinner and thinner thanks to injuries. The boys have surprised me so far, but they have to prove that they can win on the road and start putting up more points in the second half if they want to make the playoffs.

Re: 'Playoffs!!' ...can we talk about "Playoffs??"
need to get a win on the road and take this one game at a time. we can be competitive. once we get a quality win on the road then maybe we can talk playoffs. right now I want to know what adjustments we'll make to give braford some targets.
ohh... and GO RAMS!
