deiter brock? Never thought I would hear that name ever again,I don't care who you are , that's funny right there! Kurt Warner hands down. His short 3 years are a life time for most of us! I mean his great 3. He will probably always be the one who saved the Rams!!!! IMO. Bulger will have great #'s but that is all. he just doesn't have the carisma that (the bagger from where ever the hell he was from ) did!!!! Warner by far, far,&away!!!!!!!!!

It really took me a while to decide on this one (given the options). I did watch Gabriel play. He was big, strong, hard to bring down. He threw a decent long ball. I believe he still holds the NFL record for recovering 4 of his own fumbles in one game. He was definately prone to mistakes. Therefore, although I think Gabriel was one of the best Rams QBs. He was never able to get the team over the hump.

Warner made his own share of mistakes. However, with his quick reads, fast release, and pinpoint accuracy, he was able to overcome a majority of his errors. He did lead the team over the hump and win a SB (should have been 2. We all know about how NE won that game).

    My vote: Warner
That's my story, and I'm sticking to it!!

    Roman Gabriel, of course.

I'll never forget his strong, statuesque presents on the field in the very first nationally televised Rams game I ever saw. I was only 12 years old, and it was late in Gabriel's last season with the Rams in 1972.

The game was an incredible shootout against the Minnesota Vikings. Both teams were airing it out and lighting it up all over the place. A couple of times, it looked like Gabriel was going to get creamed by a blitzing LB, only to bounce off, then stand and throw a deep touchdown pass. I simply was in awe as I jumped and screamed in joy at the TV.

The Rams unfortunately came up short that unforgettable day, 45-41. But I knew then, as sure as I know now, that I will always be a Rams fan.
