ponder works out for rams

according to the esteemed mr. balzer, rams had willie ponder in today for a workout. My bet is that if we sign him, jr reid is gone. reid was signed to return kicks and if he cant do that and isnt good enough to be activated for special teams or secondary depth (ie he is behind carpenter), there is really no point of having him on the roster.

ponder was a great kick returner for the giants several years back and then wasn't picked up...then, he got cut by the seahawks earlier this season...what happened to him?
