    Portent of things to come

Let me go on record now.
The hiring of that relatively inexperienced ST coach says that next season is going to be as mediocre as this one. It is disheartening to me.

No matter how much I want to "say it isn't so", as long as Georgia and Shaw run this team, they smell like the Rams of the 90s.

    Coy,
I have mixed views about this.

    1) Why oh why does Shaw allow Martz to surrround himself with his Pals?
    2) On the other hand ... Lovie was one of his pals.
    3) Why a young inexperienced coach
    4) on the other hand, Good, A young guy. maybe he will inject some fight.

    you see my dilema ?

I think this might be a wait and see.

Well, the older experienced guys weren't able to do much. The hiring of a young inexperienced coach means nothing unless Martz gives him the personnel to succeed. Otherwise, he could hire the most experienced guy on the planet and it probably wouldn't matter.

Welcome to the 2015 Rams Draft Class

You're right, and there is no "probably" about it. Until Martz makes special teams a priority, we will keep stinking up the field in that department and it will keep costing us big games.

Absolutely right Nick! I am fervently hoping that the "humiliation" in Atlanta will force Martz to give his ST coach some say concerning personnel decisions both during the free agency period and the upcoming draft. If during the next few months, the Rams pick up a player or two from Jacksonville who excelled on ST there, it may be an indication that Martz is finally listening.

    GO RAMMS!!!!!!!!!!

And since he hasn't made it one for 4 years straight, why would anyone believe that THIS TIME it will somehow be any different?

Remember the big promise that CDs held over LPs? They wouldn't skip like a scratched record would. Guess what? DVDs skip too. The SpecialEd video has been skipping for years and it just is going to keep on skipping. 4 years of the same nonsense, tells me that the Zebra ain't going' to change his stripes. Period.
