Re: Positive thoughts about our Saint Louis Rams

This season, while not desirable, reminded me of the importance of loyalty to one's team...

When I was in Green Bay for the playoffs last week, sporting my Rams gear in a sea of green and gold, one of the Packers fans ambled up to me and said, "Rams fan, eh?" Of course I replied that I was, and have been since '71. He answered, "So, what was your season record, 3-13?" Again, I said that it was, waiting for what seemed to be the inevitable. Instead, he extended his hand to shake mine and said, "You wear those colors proudly, congratulations."

    Go Rams! :r

Ah, ah, ah! This is supposed to be a positive thread. Koolade drinkers are safe here.

Another positive is that we are in one of the weakest divisions. We could easily go 4-2 or 5-1 if we put it together next season. I am looking forward to the draft and seeing what direction we go with our picks.

the most important thing this offseason is the draft.. since we have great draft position, we have to take advantage of it.... no more jimmy kennedy's or brian leonard( i like him, but it was a reach in the 2nr round)... we have to go with the sure fire picks in the first 4 rounds.... players like:\
    1st: chris long, glenn dorsey,..
    2nd: keith rivers, lawrenence jackson
    3rd: a speed receiver...

its the dawning of a new era....perhaps a journey to be taken with a little fear in our hearts but no longer the certainty of our beloved rams suffering a long and painful death!

today we are alive for sure and now anything can happen again..... enjoy the ride chaps!

Spoon, positive please. There are a lot of threads on ClanRam for your sentiments and I might agree with you elsewhere.

Hubison I thought we had an uderstanding that you were going to moderate this forum. Or maybe I was wishfully thinking you would delete the negative posts.

Tye Hill has showed improvement both years here. I expect him to be an elite CB for years to come.

Let's not forget the second round pick, too. With the #2 pick overall, we have the luxury of grabbing two first-round talents. Not to mention the third round, where with a keen eye (please keep Softli) the Rams could have 3 starting-caliber players added to their squad.

Despite being from Nebraska, I haven't been a fond follower/homer of the Husker team (until Bo Pelini came back this year). However, Incognito was one player that really stuck out to me from the start, and that says a lot not only for me being nearly anti-Husker but also his being a lineman - not someone you'd normally notice on the field (and this is discounting his penalties ). If he stays healthy, which I admit is a big IF, he will be a Pro Bowler within two years time, or at least Pro Bowl-caliber (since it seems to be more of a popularity contest). Trust me on that.

Definately feel we have a good defense, with a lil Jelling and experience playing as a co-ordinated defense they can be in the top 5, our Offensive Backfield is strong, Offensive line needs the work...Marc needs more time in the pocket. I like Haslett as Defensive Coordinator, I think he brings to the rams a wealth of experience,

Coaching....well Im only happy with the defense,,, So thats all I will say to stay positive..

Headlines read.. RAMS TAKE DIVISON TITLE 08-09 ROCK ON!
