Bartell's special team play. Maybe Haslett will notice him now.

The D did not look good but only gave up 13 points
AND WE CAN STILL GO 10-6!!
    Sf-win
    Az-win
    Chi-very tough ill say a loss(even though i think we win :l )
    Oak-win
    Wsh-win
Min-again very tough but ill say a win.

that puts us at 9-7 which might just be good enough to get us in this year.
looking at that we should finish 8-8.. and that is above where we deserve to be..

I was very pleased with our defensive unit today they kept the Panthers to a total of 15 points which should be enough to win a game of football.. but until we get a decent defense against the run we will not make the playoffs.

Offense had a shocker .. Pace injury leaves a massive hole.. O-line needs to toughen up or Bulger is going to get killed.

We have a solid LB Corps, I'd say we go for Blalock.

Re: The Positives of the Panthers game

There was one positive on offense and that was Davis' one carry for that first down in the 2nd quarter I think. Other than that there was jack squat to be proud of offensively.

Defense did it's usual...play good for awhile then give up a huge play. Even though they gave up WAY too many yards on the ground, I think as a whole the defense looked good. Holding the panthers to that few points is quite a feat. The fact that our offense couldnt outscore them was beyond pathetic.

We can't say enough how good Hill looked, considering they were throwing to whoever he was covering all day. And Smith and Johnson are two entirely different styles of WR and he covered them both well.

Glover also looked good against the pass today

Tye Hill to me had no answer for Steve Smith. Steve is still battling the FLU! Steve took it light on him. As far covering him, if you want to think he did a great job, go ahead. Our running game was dialed in, so we didn't really need to throw to Steve as much. He only had 4 catches for 90yards with a TD. PLus he had a TD called back to an illegal man downfield penalty. They only threw to him 6 times. So him catching 4 of 6 is not that successful for your rookie

Starting MLB for Ole Miss that is 6-2 and 230.....ya I know about the whole "small lb thing" but tell me if this looks like a small lb to you?

    http://youtube.com/watch?v=_bM4sEmaFLQ

    here's another one of him

    http://youtube.com/watch?v=sVaa8NWqync

and if that doesn't work go to youtube. com and type in patrick willis, it's the first one and the 9th one respectively.

And milan can you be serious? Would you rather have Chillar/Witherspoon/Pisa or Witherspoon/Willis/Pisa. We need someone to stop the run and be a serious threat, and i just don't see that in chillar. He's a great substitute guy, and a good special teams player, but I don't want him starting after this season.
