Post dispatch reports claiborne and Jue
P-D reports this am that claiborne could be signed as early as thursday and that we are looking at the green bay safey Jue who is visiting san diego first. What can you guys tell us about Jue. No religious jokes please.

Re: Post dispatch reports claiborne and Jue
Jue's barely worth a roster spot. I've never been that impressed with what I've seen from him. He's decent in run support but nothing special in coverage. If he's the vet that's our "Plan B" if Arch doesn't work out at FS, no thanks.

He's a little better than Coady, but then I again I know a one-armed blind guy named Lucky that is better than Coady.

HUbison, that is hardly what i call a "ringing endorsement." Given our need for depth at the safety spot, if aneas doesnt want to play anymore, i hope we check to see whether either elmendorf or cromwell are in good enough shape to play.

His brother Au is good with roast beef. That's all I know.

I would say he is, but not by leaps and bounds.

Re: Post dispatch reports claiborne and Jue
i may be mistaken, but isn't jue one of the better special teams player from the packers. i think i overheard madden saying something to that effect during a monday night game featuring the packers this last season...

Yes he is a very very good special teamer. Rams fans grip about coaching but when we go to pick up a preimer special teamer they dont even know it.

Just throwing out a few random options here:If he's the vet that's our "Plan B" if Arch doesn't work out at FS, no thanks.
1. Ray Buchanon: We know he'd be good at pass coverage, but his tackling leaves a lot to be desired.
2. Zack Bronson: Anyone think he'll return?
3. Josh Bullocks: The more I read about this guy, the more I hope we snag him in the second round. Any time the words 'playmaker' and 'ballhawk' are used I get all tingly inside.

Re: Post dispatch reports claiborne and Jue
if I remember correctly we don't have a 2nd rounder because of Turley.

Re: Post dispatch reports claiborne and Jue
That was last year's pick. This year, the Rams have a first, second and two thirds (including the one from Miami obtained in the Lamar Gordon trade).
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!

And again, AV, give the city of Miami a big wet kiss for that gift, please.

Re: Post dispatch reports claiborne and Jue
Couldn't we possibly get a 3rd round pick as compensation for losing Wistrom?
