Re: Post-Draft Roster Evaluation - Have The Rams Improved?

A big difference will be scheme. Not having a predictible offense will help us a lot. Being aggressive on defense will also help a ton. That said, the talent is better but not light years better. Of course, I don't think we were that far behind on one side of the ball.

Re: Post-Draft Roster Evaluation - Have The Rams Improved?

I agree with all the comments about coaching/scheme being upgraded, especially from last year when we didn't even have the head coach for the second half of the season. Martz v. Linehan is tough to call, but Haslett > Marmie is a no-brainer and I'd think so is Linehan > Vitt. Significant upgrade!

I think the jury's still out on special teams, but the linebackers unit deserves to be classified as more than slight improvement. We had a massive upgrade at 1/3 of the positions and improved depth.

I agree with the overall assessment: we have in some way improved almost every aspect of the team, and that should translate into bigger and better things.
