I really liked this draft class. They did not move back took elite players at the top. Looked for value throughout the draft where they could find it.

I really loved this draft and can see the potential with each selection. Unbelievable that we got the best OT prospect and best DL prospect. We, for the most part, completely upgraded our defense. Hopefully these guys will develop fast as rookies and continue to grow into superstars. A lot of them have that potential. I'm excited about Tre Mason, the more I think about the pick, the more I really like it.

I don't know much about the OL picks but I like the big body guys, hope they pan out. And I'm seriously rooting for Michael Sam and Mo Alexander, they both seem totally humbled and blessed about getting drafted and seem very serious about making the team and playing at a high level.

On paper, looks really good. For me same thing each year.....let's see product on the field before I can fully grade it out.

    • 1.2: Greg Robinson, OT, Auburn Great talent and with the coaching in place he will upgrade the run game from the start and have the opportunity to replace Jake Long in a year or two if he can't stay healthy or isn't resigned. A+
    • 1.13: Aaron Donald, DT, Pittsburgh Tremendous value at 13. He won't have much pressure to come in and contribute right away. He'll be eased in and brought along at whatever pace he's able to grasp the defense and the pro game.A+
    • 2.41: Lamarcus Joyner, DB, Florida State Great coverage skills with the ability to play in the slot and as a FS. Lacks ideal size but more than makes up for it with play making ability. B+
    • 3.75: Tre Mason, RB, Auburn Great compliment to Zac Stacy. Similar size, build and overall game. Will have to work on his pass protection but I think when he spells Zac we won't miss a beat. B+
    • 4.110: Mo Alexander, S, Utah State Looks like a development case. Not a lot of experience in the secondary. Started college as a DE, moved to OLB after a year then finally to SS his last year. Will be a thumper on special teams from day 1 and have a chance to earn time in the secondary. B
    • 6.188: E.J. Gaines, CB, Missouri Again tremendous value late. Can step in and contribute in nickle/dime packages right away. A
    • 6.214: Garrett Gilbert, QB, SMU Project backup who has experience in different systems. Not the strongest arm but probably adequate for Fisher/Shotty's offense. C+
    • 7.226: Mitchell Van Dyk, OT, Portland State Mammoth man with experience as a RT. Will be interesting to see his development. B
    • 7.241: Christian Bryant, S, Ohio State Don't know much about C.B. but he seems like a play maker in the secondary. Tried to red shirt after this past season as Barry reported so he may end up being a red shirt this year for us as well. B
    • 7.249: Michael Sam, DE, Missouri Obviously a tremendous player SEC defensive player of the year. Great talent and upside we'll see how he physically fits in as a 4-3 DE in the NFL. A
    • 7.251: Demetrius Rhaney, C, Tennessee State Read good things about this guy. I think Tim Barnes' days are numbered after his poor performance in relief of Scott Wells at the end of last season. B+

Overall we got some serious play makers and contributors in this draft. I could see six or seven of these picks being either starters or regular contributors this year. We didn't trade away any of next years picks. I would have like to see a trade up with our 6th and 7th rounders to maybe grab another play maker that was available in the 5th but well done over all. Anxious to see the UDFA list as there is still a ton of talent out there. This was a great draft in a year where there was a ton of talent.

Would have liked to see a receiver in such a receiver-heavy draft get picked up, but they addressed everything else, solid draft. Hope Robinson really is everything they say he is.

Re: POST-DRAFT: What do you think of your new St. Louis Rams?

The only thing missing remains that illusive #1 wideout - even in a draft with a deep WR class. Looks like Fisher and Snead are sticking with the old-school ground and pound, play-action pro, with an occasional razzle dazzle offense. The defense is going to be very fun to watch - it'll be interesting to see how many opposing QB's survive.

I voted that we did Very Well this year. I think we did a really good job of addressing our needs and I can't wait for camp to start.
A defeated look of consternation, dissappointment, or even pain. The name derives from the look one often gets when challenged by a large BM.

Re: POST-DRAFT: What do you think of your new St. Louis Rams?

Went into this draft with 3 needs. OL, S & #1 WR... Only filled one but the price of Donald cost us the safety. Gave them a did well because I love the Donald pick and can wait another year for that safety. The DB's & Safeties we did take are adequate. None of them really impress me too much...Really like the Tre Mason pick as he I believe he will challenge Stacy for the starting spot. Gilbert has size but thats about it. Know we had to take a QB but it was too late. Give them a good grade for taking Sam in the 7th. Co SEC defensive player of the year. Nice pick.... All in All I'm happy and can't wait for the season to get started....

Rounds 1-4 are "da bomb" and we got our QB to develop so we shall see there - No one will make the team in round 7.

Re: POST-DRAFT: What do you think of your new St. Louis Rams?

Fellas I think we picked up the few pieces we needed. We've bolstered our O-line, We now have the best front 7 in the league, our front 4 is a beast. QB's are gonna be scared lining up against us. Our secondary became just that stronger. With Sam having a better O-line he has the extra few seconds he needs to get the ball to our playmakers.

WE WILL MAKE THE PLAYOFFS THIS YEAR I think we make the Super Bowl. I'm making the call. I'm super excited
