Power Rankings

In a recent poll of football power rankings ( Fox or espn, one of the two), we were ranked #32.....out of 32. Nice, I bet Linehan and the rest who are just there for a paycheck are

really proud of that.

Right now I would aggree with the ranking...after one game, but that can change. I still think the 5th game of the season is the bell-weather mark that truely gives a person a clue as to a teams strength.

0-5 is BAD, but if the games where close against winning team there is hope
0-5 against weak teams in the mix means there is something seriously wrong with your team not likely to be turned around

2-3 is hard to gage if you beat one stronger team and lose to a weaker one....chalk it up that your team is inconsistent

3-2 if you only beat sub-parr teams means your not going far

4-1/5-0 If you beat winning teams your on the right track
.....

The way the Rams lost to the Eagles says a lot. Even if they beat the Giants, there is serious doubt. Fact is the Rams must beat the Seahawks twice...and must come out 3-1 againt the Cards and Frisko to have any creditability at all. Anything less, to quote D. Green former HC of the Cardnals, "We know who we thought them to be...".

We were the worst performers in all aspects of the game except special teams. I kinda expected that. But it will change.

wonder how many places we`d jump..if we did actually beat the "World champions"??
