He left practice last week with some vision/migraine issues, so the visor might be to help with that.

Bradford played well really, he could have forced things but he does play it as safe as possible. The WR's were not getting wide open, but I thought his TD to Kendricks was excellent, Really hung in there did Sam.

I wonder if the artificial lights of the dome could affect his migraines more than natural sunlight as well? Hopefully it's just something he'll be over with in a week or so, but I know sometimes migraines can really stick around for a while.

You don't pay a QB 70M to play it safe ...

He was subpar tonight and needs to improve ....

I strongly disagree with your criticism of Bradford, Infiniti, and would hate for those who didn't get the opportunity to watch the game get the wrong impression of our young QB.

Did he do anything that jumped out? Not really. But he took advantage of a defense that was playing it soft underneath, successfully driving the ball the length of the field, and taking advantage of a shortened field thanks to our turnovers.

Sure we all would love to see him throw bombs all day long, but sometimes your receivers just simply aren't open deep, and Sam isn't going to just throw it deep to throw it deep. He hit the underneath routes and check downs, moved the chains, and put us in the positions for our ones minus our best player to beat the Colts' ones minus their best player.

Jeez, he played what, 3 series, in the first pre-season game of the year after having no time in the off season to master McD's offense? Calm down....

The visor is probably for the migranes.... Light does effect them.

I'm guessing he has what's called "light sensitivity." It can induce headaches or migraines. Has to be why he wears the visor - it looks kind of badass, anyway.

I agree, but you can't expect a perfect performance in the first preseason game. It wasn't a bad outing - he'll improve with more time in the McDaniels offense.

I have light sensitivity/migraines. Don't know Gilyards situation. But, for me, if I see big contrast (looking at a dark place then to bright lights), I get vision impairment. By using sunglasses (his visor), this lessens the effect.

In my case, while it is a migraine, I don't have pain. But it literally can make me blind for short periods of time. Sunglasses are mandatory. Even if it isn't very bright to the average person.

Its something he needs to work on. I think we have picked up a good player here though, I am not worried about him one bit. Its early, but my first impressions of Quinn are good.?

Same here my friend except for after being blind for about 5 minutes the pain is numbing, worst pain ever. I wear shades quite often (although people think that its a fashion statement), I do it to help with the sensitivity to light as a safety pre-caution. Thank God for advances in medicine, things are a lot better now.
