I would love to see Ellard as the interim coach. I believe that most of the players like and respect him and I'd be willing to see what that can do for the psyche of this team. At least we have nothing to lose anyhow.

Unless Saunders & Haslett go with Linehan, I don't see Ellard being elevated past them, to HC.

lol, if they hire Haslett it WILL BE LIKE Putting lipstick on a pig. We'd go from being being depressed, to downright suicidal. I guess it would just be an interim thing but God.. we need to just take the plunge and get OUR GUY now. I think we need someone young and inventive and a hard worker.. a film room guy. I guess a John Gruden type?

An interim coach usually doesn't end up being the NEW Head Coach.

Haslett will be done at the end of the Season, if not Sooner - OR he better be...

Ellard will not be the HC. Neither will Marshal Faulk. It's going to be Saunders or (more likely) Haslett. But it doesn't really matter who it is becuase they wont have the job next year.

I've said many times that I don't believe the Rams are going to improve this season. Linehan, Haslett and Zygmunt all need to go before we can improve.

Yeah, we need to be lead by a coach that has failed to make a second half defensive adjustment his entire tenure with the Rams.
