    And finally, we have found out who the starting QB against the Rams will be. QB Troy Smith will be starting.. I worried about this but Chris Long will just have to do what he did last time we played...he was nearly unstoppable.

    I like to see Long, Laurinaitis, and Jackson play. Maybe have Bradford in as well to see how he fairs with top notch receivers and shutdown corners like Revis.

    Starters are based on fan votes. We're kind of at a disadvantage in that department.

    As much as I love football, the Pro Bowl might be the biggest yawn in all of sports (with honorable mention to the NBA All-Star Game). Half the guys selected don't play due to injury, and the game itself is altered (no blitzes, etc). What's the point in even watching? I watched it as a kid, but could completely care less now, it's a colossal waste of time.

    A much better barometer of a player's worth is in All-Pro voting, which is not the same as pro bowl selections.
