    Props to O.J. Atogwe

O.J. has been one of our bright spots this year, and his great season continues with 2 INTs today against Brett Favre. O.J. now has 7 INTs for the year, leaving him tied for second, behind Antonio Cromartie (10) and with Marcus Trufant. This is all after he had his breakout year last year. Hopefully he can continue to develop into a stud.

So this is to send congrats to someone on this team who has really earned it during this season. Congrats O.J., and keep up the great work!

I think we're set at FS. Atogwe is developing into something special.

I concur. Major props to Atogwe for playing great. May be a pro bowler for years to come...provided he's resigned.

He is playing well....this game could have been much worse if he did not pick the two passes off when he did. Good job O.J.

He definitely comes up with the big plays. It's nice to see him coming along as a player.

I agree. He just has to work on tackling, he still misses to many tackles.

    Is he?

Sure, why not? He'll be getting my vote; along with Witherspoon and Donnie Jones.

I agree he has made plays and that he should be back as a starter next year. However, i dont think that his tackling is anywhere near pro bowl level and i cant get the huge drop he had in the seattle game at home out of my head.

He may need to improve his tackling, but he makes an awful lot of big plays. We absolutely should resign him this year and let him be our future FS. Now we just need a hard-hitting SS who isn't a liability in coverage and we're set at the safety spots for years.

I agree that Atogwe has made huge strides this year. That said, he's probably the one to blame for the Jennings TD yesterday.

Very true, and exciting to think that we finally (appear to) have a true centerfielder in the mold of 2001 Aeneas Williams. Now if we can, as you said, get a hard-hitting in-the-box SS (Bob Sanders anyone?), the middle of our D begins to look very comforting: Carriker, Ryan, Spoon, Atogwe, SS?

The inside is looking better and better.

The guy has come a long way in a short period of time, sure he still need's to improve but he is a player that can be relied on to make a play at key times. It's the other safety spot that has me most concerned..

    Re: Props to O.J. Atogwe

I would break the bank for a guy like Bob Sanders.. providing the Colts don't resign him. He is the heart and soul of the defense and I think he'd be the perfect compliment to a guy like OJ. I guess the next best FA available would be Ken Hamlin.. he doesn't seem to be as proficient in converage, but he is a hard-hitter and does make big plays.

    Thoughts?
