I think there is still a lot to overcome this year, with the Front Office BS going to continue until at least next year.

But 4-4 was really the best case scenario after losing Bulger in the Colts game.

Many things are looking better now than if you evaluated after the first 4 games.

1. Offensive line. Much better with Barron and Terrell getting settled in. Panalties should get better with Barron going forward. He's a keeper.

2. Special teams. The new punter is OK. Not bad. Hasn't done anything to hurt this team, and has sent a few pretty deep, considering how many he is forced to punt from the 10. Coverage teams are looking better. Fair is good. Johnson isn't bad.

3. Secondary. Furrey is starting to play better and Bartell looks like he can make an impact this year.

4 Defense. Still alot of holes, but simply the fact that the defense basically have won the last 2 games is huge. And no Little in there...They are getting better.

With the bye week coming up, they can get healthy and at least head up to Seattle with a chance to get back in this thing. That's all I can ask for.
