    Quesition on defensive stats?

Does anyone know if there is a way to find out how many three and outs the Rams' defense (or any other team for that matter) has forced over 2012 and 2013? Thanks in advance!

Football Outsiders ranked us 10th in three and outs. Hope this helps.

3Outs/Dr represents three-and-outs (three plays and a punt) per drive.

I visited the link, but it seems as if the three and outs listed by the Outsiders were accrued by teams' offenses rather than their defenses. I could be wrong, but it seemed that way. I would love to be able to compare the 2012, 2013, and 2014 seasons' three and outs forced on opposing offenses by the Rams' defense.

The stats listed in the link are correct, and do reference the defense. Doing some math, it looks like the Rams forced 38 three-and-outs in 2012, and 46 in 2013. We'll see about 2014.

Those stats seem to indicate that The Rams are already OK at the 3 & out thing & also solid in the RZ.It's the long scores/big plays that are really undermining the defense's influence. That , and the fact that they are playing from behind so much. Look at the other NFCW team numbers. Give the Rams a lead and some decent CB/safety play.......
