    Question Question about the game

The very last possession by the Rams, I noticed too late that Warner was on the sidelines. Who was QB for the running out of the clock? Martin or Bulger?

When we were leading 28-0 I was kind of surprised that Martz didnt let Martin take some snaps and let Canidate get some more carries. The MNF anonuncers kept harping on the freak injury factor, but Detroit wasnt even hitting on defense,so I wasnt worried about that.I just thought it would have been a good time to give Martin some work.Oh well,we won!Thats the bottom line.

Martin was awesome when he was in there, they way he kneeled was so, so, beautiful

wtf was warner and faulk and the rest in there. there was one drive where they let trung carry the ball on the drive, then brought faulk in to score the td i thought. trung played well while he was in there though.

Somebody, probably miller, said martin hadn't even taken a snap in practice, more than likely bogus, but you gotta wonder if martz is still lacking the confidence to put martin in yet.

I heard that too, DJ, about Martin not taking snaps in practice. Didn't sound right. They want him to be ready, right?

Please tell me it isn't ego keeping these guys in the game. Wanting to tweek their stats? That was Ernie Conwell that made the TD after Trung played. Faulk was in on the next series for the next TD. Hmm. If they say "play me", I don't think Martz would use common sense and keep them out.

    regards the QB and snaps

This is normal for the Rams the last 3 years. The starting QB takes all the snaps in training.

The backup plays the scout team. Its always been Martz's way, and it never failed the last 2 years so why should it now?

I know you are getting edgy about Warner getting hurt but Martin is OK.

I to wondered why Martz left them in but He himself said he wanted to preserve the shutout and wanted no mistakes. He thought it was important for the D to get the shut out mentaly so I am cool with that.

I also read Martz's comments about preserving the shutout and I am cool with that also.I guess I would just like to see Martin throw the ball a couple of times and see what he is capable of.Hopefully,he wont even be needed.

Okay, preserving the shut out, esp. for the D's sake, does make sense. Thanks Dez.

Can I put a pic of myself as an avatar?
