This is the quietest Front office I have not heard about.
There are no leaks that I have seen. Some teams throw out mis-direction others blab what they want(Mike Ditka). Nothing notta, zero is leaking out of this office. Hell not even the local papers knew what head coach we where going to sign. I really like the concept; However it just drives me CRAZY!!!

Actually, I think its the exact opposite. In the past, we were limited to rumors and "leaks." Under the new Front Office, we've had regular comments from Bill Devaney on the status of things (check the PD for updates). Kind of refreshing, if you ask me.
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!

Yeah Billy lets us know his general concepts, such as "get bigger" but no one is going to come right out and say what they are doing. I have heard more Billy D interviews than I had ever heard out of Shaw or Zygmunt (maybe I just tuned them out?). But yeah, the NFL offseason is frustrating and thrilling at the same time.

We may not have the quietest FO, but as usual, as in the past, they're are kinda slow of foot. Most other teams are making big gains early without hesitation. The Rams are just not in the same league as the Giants, Pats, Cowboys, Broncos...etc.
Remember the Rams are bottom feeders, we need drastic changes, Now!

Really?
What have the Steelers done in FA?
How about the Cardinals?
Have the Titans made a big splash?
What about the Panthers?
There are plenty of teams, and plenty of good teams, that have not made any big moves thus far. The Rams are not "slow of foot." Rather, it seems that they are being careful where they step.
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!

Re: This is the quietest Front office I have not heard about.
The only thing I can consider a mis direction is when we brought in the Cowpokes O-Coordinator to get Spags to sign in as a head coach. They won't announce a signing unless it is literally signed. It seems that the only ones to get the info when that happens is the local papers. Most teams go to espn, SI etc.. that is odd to me. I would like the Rams to get Curry or B.J. Raji.

They are doing everything they can at this point. We had to lock down Atogwe, we needed an upgrade on the offensive line, they tendered two potentially key RFA's in Cogs and Adeyanju, they are trying to work a deal with Bartell and Butler ...
Sounds pretty active to me ...

In this day and age it takes a mixture of both FA signings and a successful draft. Patriots are a great example of using both. Especially this year. The trade of Cassell to the Chiefs was brilliant. They didn't chase the first round pick, they stockpiled 2nd rounders. Less of a cap hit, less risk, and comparable talent.

Perhaps it's quiet because they aren't doing anything?
