Guess he'll just have to get 25 sacks next year.

Not a big deal. The other guys on that list including the winner are deserving. And as pointed out earlier, losing teams don't usually boast player of the year winners on either side of the football. WE know how good Quinn is and that's all that matters. Getting to the playoffs in 2014 is my only concern right now.

No question it was utter B.S. I wonder if he had one more sack though, if he would have gotten it.

I read an explanation that literally said Quinn didn't win because his team didn't make the playoffs.

Surely being on a poorer team would make his performance even better and more impressive though? Kuechley's selection has been ripped because like someone said already, he wasn't even the best player at his position, NaVorro Bowman was.

To be honest, I wouldn't mind Bowman winning it because he was great all year, and in the playoffs. Someone from Seattle like Thomas or Sherman would have made sense because their D was strong all year and won them the Superbowl. But Kuechley or Mathis over Quinn I simply can't understand or agree with at all.

It doesn't matter if he was on a worse team. DPOY is a pure statistical/dominance award and Quinn should have gotten it. Atleast Quinn, Earl Thomas or Richard Sherman over Kuechly. There were more players deserving over Kuechly for sure.
