Which player has most exceeded your expectations this year?

Good question...There are several that are close, O.J, WW, and C. Ryan come to mind...I'm going with C. Ryan. Steal of the draft and hopefully our future DT. Here's a question for the class: Can anybody think of someone on the OFFENSE that has exceeded expectations?

On offense I am going to throw this out there,how about McCollum,I know it's a different choice but he has come back from a bad knee injury and played well at 2 different positions and has been one of the constants on the o-line.

Atogwe....he's come a long way since being drafted. However, in the other category could be Culberson. Wow, what a FA pickup that was.

Good call, I could go with him on offense, I didn't think of him because of the overall play of our offensive line, but he's about the ONLY consistent thing about our line, and thats saying something...

Atogwe really has surprised me this year. I think he deserve that last spot on Probowl roster, but I don't think he'll get it. I don't see how his 7 picks can get overlooked...Do you know if Culberson is on a 1 year deal, or is it longer?

I went with O.J. He and Chillar both have excelled at making the big plays: turnovers, key stops on third down, big hits. You could make a case for either, but I was higher on Chillar going into the season, so Atogwe exceeded by expectations by a little more.

Clifton Ryan has also had a surprising season, but with rookies I don't really know what to expect at the beginning of the season.

I could pick evryone on that list excpet for spoon (i expected that out of him and boy did he deliver), but i went with O.>J IMO the biggest pro bowl snub behind Mario Williams. I mean common darren sharper who is on the leagues worst pas defense and Ken Hamlin even though he played well i think he was picked just because of the fact he is a cowboy. OJ has more picks than both. I loved the Sean Taylor selection though best pick for the pro bowl

I gotta say YES to all those options. Atogwe, Spoon, Carriker, Chillar, Jones, Ryan.....all of them have far exceeded my expectations.

Tough one. I expected big things from Witherspoon & Atogwe and they delivered. So I'm going with Chillar who I didn't have a lot of expectations for and who's been solid with occasional flashes of greatness, I hope we keep him (at the right price).

Oh yea, I forgot about A Williams. He was pretty good. If I recall he was okay in that championship game against the Pack!!!

O.J. for me too. I didn't think / I didn't expect him to shine in 07 like he has, especially with INTs.

Clifton Ryan would be my next choice but somehow, from the beginning (draft) I had high expectations from this Spartan, not sure why; I just liked him and am very glad he's done well in our DL.

Clifton Ryan, I hope he just ran out of gas, he has slown somewhat. But what a find.
