I'm surprised that you'd let Tercero (developing prospect), Goodspeed (starting FB) and especially Massey (long-snapper) go.

I generally agree with Avenger, but I'd like to see them drop Pace and stop the franchising garbage. Let him test the market to see what he's really worth. He'll probably be overpaid and flounder on a crappy team.

My hope is that, now that the Postons are out of the picture, Pace will finally sign a long term deal that will allow the Rams to carry a lower cap number for him over several seasons.

Despite the contract headaches, you simply do not let a guy like Pace leave. He's far too rare a commodity.

I agree with Av on these 3 players. We couldn't find a Fullback to save our lives in '03 and Goodspeed is doing a decent job. Tercero is our best "developing" OL presently and is certainly worth keeping at this point. And long snappers are never noticed until they make a mistake; and with our lousy ST play, mistakes by the snapper is all we would need.

    WHAT SAY YE?

It's a coding error. All of them were supposed to be in italics, but because of the list format, apparently italics doesn't transfer from list item to list item. I have it set up so the italics start at Arlen Harris and end at Tercero, and also so that all our RFAs are signed.

I would like to see us keep these guys, but a lot depends on draft strategy as well.

    Exclusive Rights Free Agents
CB Dwight Anderson - let go
WR Mike Furrey - keep - decent on ST
RB Arlen Harris - let go.. nothing to offer & too slow
G Blaine Saipaia - too early to tell, maybe
    OT Scott Tercero - Keep
LB Jeremy Loyd - let go

    Restricted Free Agents
    LB Trev Faulk - Keep
    FB Joey Goodspeed - Keep
    LS Chris Massey - Keep

    Unrestricted Free Agents
G Darnell Alford - Let go
TE Cam Cleeland - Let go, draft TE in early rounds
S Rich Coady - Let go... he is hopeless
G Chris Dishman - Let go.. too injury prone
    DE Bryce Fisher - Keep
DE Erik Flowers - Keep - worth keeping while Hargrove develops
P Sean Landetta - Keep - he is doing a good job
WR Dane Looker - Keep - need to stabilise the WR unit
S Justin Lucas - Let go
G Tom Nutten - Keep for one more year until Tercer develops
    OT Orlando Pace - keep
LB Tommy Polley - Let go
S Aeneas Williams - keep, I said one more year last year but....
S Zack Bronson - Let go

I think the WR corps have done a great job this year, too change it this offseason would be a mistake.
The only real problems on Offense are the OL and TE i.e. keep the resta as is

There is almost no use keeping anyone that is up for FA on defense... they have had their chance and flunked.

You guys seem to like Fisher...he was well liked here in Buffalo by the fans but a previous coach thought he was too raw...

You guys can keep Flowers...a #1 bust.

Ah, but that's the beauty of it. It was Buffalo's first rounder that busted. He's just another FA pick-up for us.
